The Routine Song

What do you do in the morning?

First I wake up

Then I get out of bed

Then I look around

And I take a deep breath

And I stretch my legs

And I stretch my arm

Then I lay down again

It's so nice to sleep!

What do you do in the morning?

I sit down at the table

And I eat my breakfast

Then I brush my teeth

And I wash my face

And I comb my hair

And I put on clothes

You look so nice today!

Thanks! So do you!

Every day the sun comes out

We all smile and sing and shout!

These are things we do each day:

We laugh and learn and sing and play!

What do you do in the evening?

I come home from school

And I give my mom a hug

Then I grab my ball

And I go outside

And I find some friends

And we play, play, play

Then mom calls for me

And says, "It's time to eat."

What do you do in the evening?

We sit down to eat

We talk and laugh a lot

Then we all clean up

And we play a game

And I do homework

And I brush my teeth

Then I lay down again

It's so nice to sleep!
